• Great time was had at InfoSec 2008 in Louisville

    14 Oct 2008

I’ve been traveling quite a bit as of late so I’m a little off kilter. That said, I wanted to post a quick note regarding the Kentuckiana ISSA’s 4th annual InfoSec conference I keynoted last week. It was a great show…very good turnout – both attendees and vendors – and VERY well run. In fact, I believe Cindy Woods – the brains/effort behind the show missed her calling. Cindy put on a better, more well-run show than the majority of the “higher-end” security shows I’ve attended in the past.

It’s always a turn-off when conference managers (people with actual degrees and in that field!) forget about the little things. But nothing was forgotten at the show last week. Randall Frietzche – the local chapter president – kept the show rolling and did a great job himself. They were just an all-around top notch group of people that I hope to have the pleasure to work with again. They already have pictures and more from the event posted on their site…Man, they’re on top of things.

Anyway…just thought I’d share my enthusiasm with you.
