A must-attend show for technology professionals

If you give presentations at work, for clients, at conferences or seminars, or you just want to become a better presenter overall you have to check out a show that's coming to my hometown in October called PowerPoint Live.I haven't attended any of their previous shows but I purchased their handouts and presentation content from last year's show and it's great stuff. Now, this year, I'm going to force myself ...

    Good recap of RSA 2009

Here's a recap of some of the themes at the RSA 2009 conference...with Mike Rothman's bias of course. Funny how things haven't changed all that much....

    In case you missed RSA…

Here's a page containing links to the keynote sessions at the conference last week. Some good - some not so much. Either way it's worth a look-see...and a listen. The Mythbusters "keynote" is on there as well!...

Funny post about today’s RSA keynotes

Here's some funny insight from my colleague Mike Rothman into the caliber of speakers that RSA pulls in for their keynotes. Funny, amazing, sad.I'm becoming more and more glad that I didn't go out there!...

    RSA this week

Since our Imperial Federal Government wants more of its "fair share" of taxes from me for 2008, I'm focusing on minimizing my overhead this year. That said, I wanted to post a quick note regarding the Kentuckiana ISSA's 4th annual InfoSec conference I keynoted last week. It was a great show...very good turnout - both attendees and vendors - and VERY well run. In fact, I believe Cindy Woods - the brains/effort behind the show missed her calling. Cindy put ...

RSA during Spring Break! What were they thinking?

I just received my fancy conference booklet for RSA 2008. If you didn't get one, you'll likely start seeing/hearing more and more buzz leading up to the show that's scheduled for April 7-11 this year.Since RSA's normally in February, I started thinking about this timeline and it hit me. That week happens to be Spring Break for the Atlanta metro area and likely a *lot* of the U.S. What were ...
